We are open to folks coming to do work/study throughout the year as well. People who want to come and work and be a part of our community can contribute in many creative ways, such as gardening, housekeeping or maintenance.
Age Limitation: Volunteer staff must be 18 years of age or older.
Commitment: During your stay at the Guild, your commitment is to serving the needs of the community that is comprised of staff and guests.
Work/Study: Work involves assisting core staff in maintaining the physical campus (housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen duties, etc.) for 4-5 hours per day in order to cover expenses of room and board. According to what is scheduled, our distinguished art programming may provide an opportunity for a work/study arrangement.
Garden Assistant (seasonal): We need specific assistance with our Garden during the months of April-May & September-October. Assistants work 25 hours per week, 15 in the garden and 10 with general duties. Garden work includes: beginning plant starts in greenhouses, prepping for seed sowing; transplanting crops; watering, weeding and harvesting produce; building raised beds and simple vertical structures; and helping with food prep in the kitchen.
Housing: Housing is dependent upon the ever-changing community and will be arranged by the Staff Coordinator.
