Don't be afraid! Discover the possibilities of water and pigment mixed together. Learn techniques to control your paint when you wish, or let it follow its natural tendencies when you are curious where they will lead. Learn about various tools and materials that will help you achieve different effects. Wade into the world of light-hearted washes and lilting colors!
This class is specifically geared towards beginners; however, all experience levels are welcome. Ages 14+

What will class time be like? Will I need to work outside of class?
Class time will focus on demonstrations of various techniques, as well as independent work time with one-on-one feedback from the instructor. Students are encouraged, but not required, to spend time in the studio outside of class.
What can I expect to create?
Participants can expect to finish at least one painting, but are encouraged to complete more if time allows.
What should I bring to class?
Most necessary materials will be provided; however, students are welcome to bring photographs or sketches for inspiration.
