A Women’s SoulCollage® Retreat
featuring the wisdom and writings of Thich Nhat Hanh
Friday March 24th - Sunday 26th , 2017
‘Walk in peace’
'Go in peace’
‘Peace be with you’
Many of us are familiar with these simple phrases, often shared in settings where people gather
to worship, meditate or pray.
But what might it mean for us to “be peace”?
Join Retreat Facilitator Sally Freed at The Grunewald Guild for a weekend retreat where we will
explore how Being Peace might be uniquely revealed to us, especially during times of conflict
We’ll practice ‘being peace’ by taking short walks outdoors, and welcome the onset of early
spring. What might Mother Nature teach us about ‘being peace', as the seasons move from
darkness into light?
We’ll practice ‘being peace’ by listening deeply, to ourselves and to one another, through both
silence and conversation. We’ll share the gift and challenge of ‘pausing’ before speaking, acting
We’ll also practice ‘being peace’ through the simple, yet profound and creative process known
as SoulCollage®, one that invites us into ‘quiet time’ and encourages trust in our own intuition
and deep wisdom.
Foundational to our weekend’s activities, we’ll reflect upon selections from Being Peace and
How to Walk, written by the Buddhist monk and teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh. His wisdom will
serve as a source of inspiration and gentle guidance on our ‘being peace’ journey.
Our weekend begins with dinner at 6:00pm on Friday evening, March 24th, and runs through Sunday noon, March 26th, after enjoying a full brunch.
