We’re excited to introduce this new collaboration between St. Andrew’s House and the Grünewald Guild! Please note that this event will take place at St. Andrew’s House, 7550 E. Hwy 106, Union, WA.
We’ll be meeting up for three days of fellowship, creativity, and worship at the beautiful St. Andrew’s House retreat center on the Hood Canal. We will enjoy communal meals, casual ecumenical worship, and plenty of free time for participants to relax.
The retreat will begin with dinner and a brief orientation on Monday evening. Each of the following days will feature morning worship and art opportunities, with the afternoons free for participants to relax, continue working on our projects, or explore the area. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings will close with dinner together and a time of contemplative prayer.
Each morning will feature a different “small bite” creative workshop led by Grünewald Guild staff. These sessions will take us through the process of making our own hand-made paper, adorning our papers with beautiful word & image journaling OR watercolor paintings, and finally binding our creations together into a one-of-a-kind book. Beginners are definitely welcome here!
We will wrap up our time together with a celebratory lunch and departing blessing on Thursday.
