Previous students describe this as "a wonderful class" and "a great experience, and praise Guild Master Jean Tudor's ability to guide beginning students through the enameling process while providing plenty of creative freedom.
Learn the process of fusing glass to metal, combining the brilliant color of powdered glass with the warm glow of copper to make luminous objects and designs. Become familiar with layering colors together, placing the enamel in your design, and handling a kiln. Enjoy the delight of taking your work out of the kiln and finding it has changed from grainy, muted colors to a beautiful, shiny and smooth work of art -- pure magic! No experience necessary.
