Express yourself in color and light while crafting a unique and stunning stained glass window. The beauty of mosaic is that anyone - from beginner to experienced artist - can employ glue, grout, and small pieces of colored glass to make exquisite art. This class will cover design elements, techniques and the process of creating a stained glass mosaic window.
All experience levels welcome, including beginners. Ages 14+
What will class time be like? Will I need to work outside of class?
Class will begin with brief instructor demonstrations, followed by independent student work time with one-on-one feedback and instruction. Most participants should anticipate working outside of class time to complete their projects.
What can I expect to create?
Participants can expect to create one mosaic glass window sized 18” x 24” (plus frame)
What should I bring to class?
All necessary materials will be provided. Students may bring dimensions of a window at home where they plan to display their completed projects. Closed-toe shoes should be worn in the studio at all times.
