8:00am – 6:00pm Pacific Time
Do you know the names of your great grandmothers and where they lived? Do you know their stories? Who laid the groundwork for the story you are living right now?
The stories of our ancestors have brought us to this moment in time. When we begin to know the textures of their stories, the reasons for their movements, we’ll begin to know more about who we are.
Through the power of memory and creativity, we will dedicate this day to honoring and remembering loved ones and ancestors. And as we do this together, we will experience a sense of our shared story, our shared humanity.
The leaves of love are creation.
On this day, you will experience the following three sessions, offering three ways to honor loved ones and remember our interconnectedness.
Every culture has a palpable sense of the sacred. Learn about the importance of the spiritual practice of making personal shrines (home altars) in the Latinx tradition.
