Join Guild Faculty Mary McLeod as she shares her passion for new and innovative techniques in the wonderland of lettering, drawing and collage. A student last summer described Mary’s class as “Welcoming! Unintimidating! Exploratory! Serendipitous!”
Students will create a journal with drawings, lettering, and collage. Numerous drawing techniques, lettering styles, and embellishment techniques will be taught.
Mary writes, “We will be drawing on our home environments for our plein air experiences.”
All experience levels welcome, including beginners. Ages 14+
What will class time be like? Will I need to work outside of class?
Mary will demonstrate various background techniques via pre-recorded videos. There will also be time for plein air drawing and painting from your own home environment.
