We are so grateful to add Bethany A. Wray to this summer lineup with a new watercolor offering. Some of you may remember Bethany when she served as the Guild’s Hospitality Coordinator a few years back.
We use our eyes each day to take in the world around us, but how often do we stop and notice subtleties in color or the beauty found in everyday objects? In this class, we will explore the exciting realm of color in watercolor painting to begin to see every day with new eyes. In this class, you will learn basic color theory, composition, and watercolor technique. Each day will be an attentive process to see more profoundly and make meaning out of the objects and backdrops that surround us.
Daily Watercolor Exercises: A new technique and watercolor exercise will be introduced each day through Google Classroom or a private Facebook Group. This will allow everyone to access and review the material at their own pace as well as give everyone the opportunity to share the work they have done to the class.
When is class time?
10:00am – 11:00am (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday, July 6-July 10, via Zoom
