Adele Caemmerer
After coming to the Guild as a staffer in 1987, Adele met and married Guild founders, Richard and Liz Caemmerer’s son, Mike. Adele and Mike ventured overseas for teaching, and along with their two daughters, travelled between Asia and America, spending many summers in Plain with the Guild community. Along the way Adele trained and worked as a spiritual director and continued this work overseas as one of the facilitators of mindfulness group of teachers at her school in India. She is now living in Plain, pursuing her art, freelance teaching, and all things personal growth. She is active in the local arts scene through exhibitions and arts advocacy. Adele incorporates her passion for art and spiritual practice in her visual explorations of the rhythms of daily life.
