Jill has spent her life expressing the Spiritual through visual arts, movement and writing. For the past decade she has made glass mosaics and has integrated them into her art practice through teaching, showing and demonstrating the process. This project is called "Mosaics, Creating Wholeness From The Broken Bits." Recently she exhibited current work as the featured artist at Ave. West Gallery in Spokane.
Jill is a Pastor, Chaplain and Interfaith Spiritual Director. Currently she is the Pastor of Stella Lutheran Chapel in Longview, WA. She manages an art studio and a teaching and speaking schedule as well. Her work has been described as "colorful, whimsical, mystical and inspirational." She draws inspiration from nature and life experiences including travel, personal healing, prayer and the simplicity of day to day life. She spent nearly a decade in Mexico City, and during that time lived out her art dream of seeing and making art daily and living out her Pastoral dream by working at the Lutheran Center and eventually becoming the Director of that justice based Center. She recently moved to Longview after living in the Yakima Valley for 16 years.
