Sacred Arts 2019
Apr 28 – May 4, 2019
The Theme: Opening
Eyes and ears, hearts and minds, imagination and soul — when these are open, we are set free to be agents of creativity, grace and transformation in this world.
Come be part of Spring 2019 Sacred Arts Week as together we are about the work and play of Opening to the Creative Spirit who is always cheering us on toward Love.
“I loved [how matins and vespers] tied the days, the week and the community together — the mixture of poetry, sculpture, reflective garden and altar time.”
“[The week was] beautifully planned and paced, inviting joyful involvement.”
“[It was] welcoming, open and supportive.”
Some glimpses of Spring 2018 Sacred Arts Week:
Sacred Arts Week is a time to gather and envision new possibilities for creativity and the sacred. This year’s classes feature familiar favorites as well as new offerings, all taught by our world-class faculty with an average class size of just seven students.
Newcomers and old friends alike say it is the intimate and inclusive community that makes the Guild so unique. Throughout the week, you’ll be able to enjoy communal meals, twice-daily worship, and plenty of opportunities for informal conversation and sharing. You are welcome to take part in all activities, or spend time alone in creativity, rest, and reflection.
