Cheryl is a 2nd generation co-owner of Jim Custer Enterprises, Inc. – a company based in Spokane, Washington, that specializes in consumer show promotions with a roster of seven annual events held throughout Eastern Washington.
She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!) with a major in Journalism (emphasis on Radio/TV) and a minor in Vocal Music Performance. Within two years of graduating Cheryl began working full-time with her parents in their business. When they retired, Cheryl and her husband bought the business. They work together 24/7 and that holds both blessings and challenges!
When she’s not working, you’ll find her singing. Anywhere, anytime. That passion led her to the Grünewald Guild over 20 years ago for a week-long summer class in Songwriting. Cheryl was a new guitar player at the time and was just stepping into the singer/songwriter waters – it’s a good thing that the Guild is by a river!
Cheryl has served on the board (with a break at the six-year mark) for 11 years and is continually honored and humbled to be part of the Guild in this capacity and to witness firsthand the many blessings it continues to bring forth.
