Volunteer Opportunities
Whether participating in one of our Volunteer Events or volunteering your own schedule through our General Volunteer Application, there are plenty of opportunities to bring your time and talents to the Guild!
Want to bring a group of volunteers to the Guild?
We’d love to hear from you! Please email us and tell us a little about your group, what sorts of volunteer work you're interested in offering, and whether you would need overnight accommodations and/or meals..
What kind of work do volunteers do?
There are on-campus needs all year round; from shoveling snow in the winter, to washing dishes during retreats or classes, to helping with building or studio upkeep, or preparing spaces for new folks arriving.
Can I volunteer while taking a class?
Yes! Volunteers are welcome (and encouraged) during times when Guild Programs are offered. As a volunteer, your room and board are covered during your time volunteering. We’ll work with you in creating a volunteer schedule that allows you to fully participate in your class.
Are there ways I can help from home?
Do you have a particular “remote skill” that you’d like to offer? Let us know in your application, or email us to let us know you’re willing and able to help out from afar.
Can I take a class for free if I volunteer?
Although room and board are free for volunteers, Course Fees are required for all course participants. The Guild is happy to offer financial assistance to help cover Course Fees. To apply, please submit a Financial Assistance Application.
Want to volunteer on your own schedule?
Our year-round community requires year-round care. Alongside dedicated Volunteer Events, we invite folks to volunteer their time and talents on a schedule that works for them! Please fill out our General Individual Volunteer Application and let us know you’re interested! Volunteers receive free lodging during their stay. If meals are available during their time volunteering, those are free, too!
