CYBER STUDIO

What is Cyber Studio? Cyber Studio is a weekly digital small gathering of folks looking for a dedicated space to create in community. Cyber Studio meets via Zoom.

How long do I have access to Cyber Studio? Cyber Studio is a monthly program, with registration required each month. You may register at any point during the month for access to the remaining sessions for that month, and you are not obligated to attend all of the month’s sessions.

What does a Cyber Studio session look like? Each session will begin with sharing our hopes and goals for our art-making. Whether intermittent conversation or focused silence follows, we’ll find our way organically as we move through the session. The session is usually closed with a brief sharing of progress and experience, for those who wish to do so.

Is there instruction? There will be no instruction. There will be a host, likely a Guild faculty member. The host may show their camera on their own project, in case you are curious about their art process or are needing a break from your own.

What kinds of projects can I bring to Cyber Studio? Any kind! Some people bring their sketchbook, some bring paint, some bring their knitting, and some bring an Excel spreadsheet they need to work on. The point is to gather together and support one another as you practice whatever “creativity” means for you.
