Spring Program

As the Plain Valley wakes up, we invite you to stretch and awaken your creativity through spring program at the Grünewald Guild.

Join us for art + faith + community during the months of March through May! Diverse programs are offered, including our yearly Spring Sacred Arts Week.

Spring Sacred Arts Week

Since 2015, the Guild’s yearly Spring Sacred Arts Week has gathered curious creatives for a week of artistic and spiritual play.  Facilitated by Scott Burnett (artist and worship pastor) and Laurie Rudel (retired pastor and worship leader), it is a time to celebrate the waking of the Plain Valley while exploring our personal and communal creative depths. We share familiar Guild rhythms, marked by time for both solitude and gathering.  Typical class sizes are 5 – 8 people, allowing ample time for small-group discussion and individual direction. Newcomers and old friends alike say it is the intimate and inclusive community that makes the Guild so unique. And of course, our beautiful location in the North Central Cascades provides inspiration for art-making, reflection, and exploration.

Springtime at the Grunewald Guild is a season of gentle stirring, inside and out. Creation and creativity awaken to familiar, yet always surprising, newness. Spring Sacred Arts Week is designed and refined with these rhythms and stirrings in mind. Laurie Rudel and Scott Burnett treasure the opportunity to facilitate this week of reflection, expression, and community.
